Bitdax is preparing an application for accreditation as an Electronic Certification Service Provider with the Communications Authority of Kenya. No accreditation has been granted. Trust services are demonstrated in a controlled environment only.

Bitdax publishes the status of every service. A working interface is not evidence of an approval. See the regulatory status page for the full register.

Capabilities

What it does

Templates

Define a credential type once — fields, validity, branding, revocation rules.

Bulk issuance

Issue to a whole cohort from a validated recipient list.

QR on every credential

Each credential carries a QR that resolves to a public verification result.

Revocation

Withdraw a credential at any time. Verification reflects it immediately.

Expiry and renewal

Practising certificates and CPD records that expire and renew on schedule.

Recipient privacy

Choose what a public verifier sees — often just name, type and status.

How it works

The flow, end to end

  1. Template selected

The issuing institution picks or defines a credential template.

  2. Recipients imported

A recipient list is uploaded or pulled from a student system.

  3. Data validated

Missing, malformed or duplicate records are surfaced before issuance.

  4. Credential generated

Each record becomes a credential bound to its recipient.

  5. Signed and timestamped

A digital signature and trusted timestamp are applied.

  6. QR issued and delivered

Recipients receive the credential; the event is written to the audit ledger.
